If you wish to be a trader please be advised of the following conditions: Technology Markets, Computer market, computer swap meet, Tech Fair, or by any other name you wish to call them have the following rules you need to be aware of as a trader.

To be eligible for a site you must pre-pay your booking. All bookings must be received by 12pm Friday prior to the computer market. Any bookings received after this time may not be fulfilled. Any cancellations must be made 24hours prior to the computer market in order to receive a credit. We reserve the right to accept or decline any booking. Any bookings not pre-paid may not be eligible for a site.

All Traders should have their own insurance & they, by signing the booking form agree to
indemnify both the Organiser, which may be known as Technology Markets, Computer Market, computer swap meet, computer tech fair, Tech Fair, or another marketed name. The also agree to indemnify the hall or facilities owners or stakeholders from any claims or losses arising from the Traders activities. All traders must comply with the applicable laws relating to their industry and must abide by all state and federal laws in relation to the sale of goods and services. In particular they understand that piracy and circumvention is illegal. All traders must comply with the Copyright Act of 1968. They by the Act are not permitted to sell or offer for sale pirate or grey market copies. They should also comply with the classifications Act 1995, which states that all films, games or publications must have an Australian Classification unless otherwise exempt by the definition of the Act. Any trader in breach of any law or Act of parliament could face arrest and prosecution by relevant authorities. We have as organisers no powers of arrest with exception that is allowed under the Crimes Act 1914, however there is no hesitation in calling the relevant authorities if instructed to do so by members of the public or other traders. Any trader found convicted of any crime arising from the market will be banned forthwith.

Please note set up time for traders is strictly between 7.30am and 9.30am on the day of the event. Any trader entering before this time does so at the their own risk. We accept no responsibility for loss or damage to goods, products or equipment brought into the venue outside of these times. Tables structure, make up and erection are the sole resposibility of the trader. All traders must test the structual integrity of their table prior to set up and must report any faults to the attending manager as soon as practical. They must not set up on a table they believe to be unsafe. All electrical equipment brought into the venue must also be tested and tagged and comply with Australian Safety standards and comply with Victorian Workplace OH&S laws. The markets are open to memebers of the general public from 10am to 4pm. No vehicle or logistic moving may not take place during this time.

Any trader found to be engaging in deceptive or mis-leading conduct will also be banned from operating at our events. Any trader found to be operating as or with a competing event company will also be banned and asked to refrain from attending our events. These events may be determined by management but relate to directly competitive Technology Fairs, markets or computer swapmeets. Any trader looking to hawk or canvass other traders for the purposes of spruiking other markets or events will also be banned from attending the venue.

Privacy Policy

  • Your Department/Service/company name/business name;

  • Your contact telephone number(s);

  • Your contact facsimile number;

  • The event(s) in which you are involved or interested.

From time to time, we may wish to carry out a voluntary survey for feedback on our activities.  Before undertaking such a survey, we will advise you of the purpose of the survey and will offer you the opportunity to decline from participation.

We rely on the personal information we hold about you to conduct our business efficiently and in the best interests of achieving our objectives.  We understand that our customers will reasonably expect to receive marketing material from us such as our up-to-date website, electronic event  forms and postal event forms.  This may not necessarily be about our events, but events which support us in meeting our objectives and which we believe may be of interest to you.  When we collect personal information about you, we advise that unless you have requested otherwise, we may use that information to provide you with marketing material.  That information is collated into our database. Please note that we do not directly financially benefit from the use of your personal information; will not provide your personal information to any other organisation or individual in any way; unless reasonably required by a facility, supplier or consultant for the purpose of event management, research and/or delivery will not use or disclose your personal information for purposes other than those mentioned in this policy or to which you have consented or which are otherwise allowed under the Act.  You may “opt out” of receiving any information from us by using our opt out mechanism’s or by emailing our office at technologymarkets@yahoo.com

Our Website and Cookies
